We are committed to protecting the private information provided by you our supporter and all stakeholders with whom we exchange information. In the normal course of operating this mission, and because operating over the internet is about the flow of information, FEBC will occasionally handle your personal data. This page offers you our policy on what we do with that information.

When donating, ordering something or registering on our site, as appropriate, you may be asked to enter your: name, e-mail address, postal address, phone numbers, or credit card information. Usage: What do we use your information for?

The information we collect from you may be used in any of the following ways:

     A. To personalise your experience (your information allows us to serve you and better respond to your individual preferences);

     B. To process donations and transactions;

     C. To send you information and updates pertaining to your donation or order. You may also receive occasional organisation news, updates, related product or service information, etc. based on our previous transaction.

Note: If at any time you would like to unsubscribe from receiving future emails, we include detailed unsubscribe instructions at the bottom of each email.

Security: How do we protect your information?

1. We implement a variety of security measures to maintain the safety of your personal information when you make a donation, a purchase, or send us your details. We take all reasonable steps to ensure that only authorised personnel have access to private information, and that when required transfer of this information occurs securely.

2. FEBC uses Flo2cash for Credit Card transactions.  Flo2cash recognizes its responsibility to keep confidential at all times any information which they acquire in connection with such a transaction, whether directly from the Cardholders or Merchant. Flo2cash protects personal information (at a minimum) to the Payment Card Industry Data Security Standards. 3. In the event of a privacy breach, we follow best practice recommendations as provided by the Office of the Privacy Commissioner (http://www.privacy.org.nz/).

Does FEBC store Credit Card Information?

No. Your private credit card information will not be stored by FEBC in any way.

Do we use tracking cookies?

FEBC’s website does not use tracking-cookies.

Disclosure: Do we disclose any information to outside parties?

We do not sell, trade, or rent private information to outside parties. However, in the normal course of operations we may disclose private information to third parties as required to provide goods and services to our supporters. Such parties may include printers, mailing houses, I.T. service providers, and/or government authorities. Once again, we take all reasonable steps to ensure that this information is protected and used securely and appropriately.

Subscription to our Skywaves Newsletter

When you make a donation or purchase with FEBC, you will automatically be subscribed to our bi-monthly newsletter called “Skywaves” as a means of feedback and reporting to you. If you don’t wish to receive this, or would like to change the delivery method, please contact us at your convenience.

Email Updates

If when donating, purchasing or subscribing to any of our services, you supply us with your email address, we will subscribe you to our e-Skywaves, and e-Global Updates – occasional email news about the work we do around the world. All emails contain an easy “unsubscribe” option.
